The DC Cabaret Network will host a special event with Erv Raible, Executive/Artistic Director of the yearly Cabaret Conference at Yale University.
Sunday, November 7th
Time: 3 PM – 5 PM
Location: Warehouse Theater, 1021 7th Street NW (entrance at 645 New York Avenue, NW)
The event will feature a conversation with Erv talking about his long career and real life experience in the world of cabaret: as a club owner, as a director, and now, as Artistic Director of the summer training program, the Cabaret Conference at Yale University. The afternoon promises to be interesting! Most importantly, it will give audience members the opportunity to ask questions about cabaret, performers, and where the art is headed.
Erv Raible has an amazing background in cabaret. He owned and managed several clubs in New York City, including Eighty Eight’s, Don’t Tell Mama’s, and the Duplex that gave opportunities to many well-known vocalists. He co-founded the Manhattan Association of Cabaret and Clubs (MAC), and is now a cabaret coach, director, publicist, consultant and talent representative.
$20 for paid members of the DC Cabaret Network
